Matt’s Weather Info was created by Matt Whitney on December 18, 2002. He first started out with only 1 page with the forecast for the Ottawa area as well as some links.

 

Then in January 2003 he added more and more pages. Warnings, News, Illinois, Canada and national are just to name a few.

 

As of May 2003, Matt’s Weather info was created using MS Publisher and has a new address! Matt’s Weather Info has over 20 pages all about weather or radio.

 

On June 21, 2003 Matt’s Weather Info will re-launch with its newest version 3.0 with all the web pages into MS Publisher and uploaded using angel fire.

 

Thank you to all the viewers who have gone through all these changes. Who knows…maybe Matt’s Weather Info will be just like AOL with new version 8.0!! HA HA!!

 

 

 

The creator...Matt Whitney was born on October 15, 1985 in the small town of Ottawa Illinois, which is just about hour, hour and a half south of Chicago on Interstate 80.  His parents divorced when he was 1 year old.

 

His mother Michele Whitney married Richard Tipton on October 17, 1992. 4 years later his dad Mike Whitney Jr. married Sarah Hollenbeck on April 12, 1996.

 

Also in 1996 Matt was blessed with a brother, Drew Whitney, on August 25, 1996 to his step mother Sarah and his father Mike. Just 4 months later he was blessed again with a sister, Rachael Tipton, on December 20, 1996 to his mother Michele and his step dad Rich. He was the only child for 11 years then in one year he became a brother TWICE!

 

His father divorced again in 1998.

 

Matt Lives with his mom and see his father and brother every other weekend and on Wednesdays. He also spends 8 weeks in the summer with is father and brother.

 

 His interests include...the internet…chatting…shopping...weather...radio...and DANCE MUSIC!

 

Dance runs threw Matt’s Body. His Favorite Radio Station ENERGY 92 7/5 went off the airwaves on January 6, 2003. Since then Matt has been trying to re-live the ENERGY. In April, 2003 Matt was approached in becoming a Promotions member for MooDance.com. (Now purePULSE) He is now with purePULSE radio.

 

Matt is now a Senior at Ottawa High School and wants to pursue a career in Meteorology.  He plans to go to IVCC (Illinois Valley Community College) for 2 years to get his prerequisites  out of the way, then plans to go to either U of I (University of Illinois/Champaign-Urbana) or Mississippi State University and pursue meteorology.
